A Little About Me.

Helping Triathletes Swim Faster, Run Stronger, and Race Smarter

I grew up in Northern Virginia, competing in nearly every sport imaginable, but it was swimming that captured my heart. I took that passion to George Mason University, where I swam competitively while earning my B.S. in Exercise Science — and gave back by coaching my community summer swim team.

After college, I turned my love of coaching into a professional career. While working with one of Washington D.C.’s top swim clubs, I discovered triathlon. I started with Olympic-distance races and quickly progressed to 70.3 and full Ironmans, training under my coach Scott Defillipis.

In 2014, I moved to Southern California to fully pursue my triathlon passion. Racing along the coastline, I earned multiple 70.3 and full Ironman overall age-group titles while continuing to coach athletes of all levels — from first-time triathletes to elite age-groupers.

My journey hasn’t been without challenges. A serious bike crash in 2021 left me with a broken scapula and separated AC joint. Months of recovery and physical therapy tested my dedication, but I returned stronger, winning the overall age-group title at Ironman Oceanside 70.3, a lifelong dream. That same year, I made my professional debut at Ironman Cozumel.

Today, I combine my personal racing experience, coaching expertise, and data-driven training methods to help triathletes of all levels achieve their goals. From beginners chasing their first finish to elite age-groupers aiming for podiums, I create personalized plans, provide 24/7 support, and guide athletes every step of the way.

I’ve had the privilege of coaching athletes to incredible milestones, including:

  • First-time Ironman finishers

  • Ironman World Championship qualifiers

  • 70.3 World Championship qualifiers

  • Boston Marathon Qualifiers
…along with countless personal bests across all distances.

If you’re ready to train smarter, race stronger, and reach your triathlon potential, I’d love to work with you.
